This 70th milestone year, our hearts are at the finish line as we dedicate this Derby to the memory of Bob Sardinski. Bob was a fierce, lifelong trade union activist and the beloved face of our finish line for decades. As our longest-serving race steward, Bob brought fairness, infectious energy, and a massive smile to every single heat. He spent countless Labour Days ensuring that every young racer crossed the line safely and felt like a true champion. Though the finish line may look a little different without him in person this year, Bob’s dedication to solidarity, community, and the kids of Brantford will be celebrated Thank you, Bob, for keeping us on track for so many years. You are deeply missed, but your legacy races on! |
We had a fun but HOT ! Canada Day, showcasing our Ramp and Cars at Lions Park . Lots of Derby swag was given away and the kids had fun racing mini cars on our table top ramp
