Land Acknowledgement
The Brantford & District Labour Centre is located on the traditional territories of
the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabeg Nations; lands covered by the
Upper Canada Treaties and directly adjacent to the Haldimand Treaty.
The Brantford & District Labour Council represents members that recognize and respect
that we work, live, meet and play on land that has been inhabited by
Indigenous peoples for thousands of years.
Together, as stewards of these lands and waters, we commit to a relationship which acknowledges
truths which will keep us on a meaningful path to reconciliation.
